Green Rock is owned and operated by us. Not a fund. Not a group of investors. We were married on this land. We've lived in the Bend/Redmond area for 14 years, and we're building this place ourselves, with our kid in tow. We're the ones who'll be here when you show up.

Nicole-Amanda has spent the last decade designing experiences that bring people into the slow, juicy moment. As an event planner, acro yoga teacher, chef, and intimacy coach, she's learned what makes people feel safe enough to let their guard down. That's the same instinct behind every space on this property: the raw canyon landscape, shaped with real intention instead of left to chance.

Swiss's background is in water management and environmental education. He's run mission-first organizations around both, and spent years as a mountain and raft guide. That's why Green Rock isn't just pretty. The off-grid systems, the land use, the way the property actually functions, are being built by someone who's spent a career guiding people comfortably through extreme environments

We host because of what this land does to people. We've watched guests unplug for the first time in months, sleep better after one night than they had in years. We had guests hug us in tears because it was the first time they can remember their family put the phone down and had a meal together. We watch grown men spontaneously skip through the fields of wildflowers. We listen to stories from guests who conversed with their passed loved ones on the desert air.

We are not building this to fill beds. We built it because we wanted more people to get a shot at a real intimate encounter with nature and their loved ones, and doing it right meant doing it ourselves.

Since opening, we've hosted 318 guests, earned 78 five-star reviews, and run around 75% occupancy. Numbers we're glad to have, because they mean this isn't a plan on paper. It's already working. Everything we're building next is the same two people, doing the same work, just at a bigger scale.
